The Winnetka Project: Final Reveal!

Another winter, another project completed. It's going to be strange not coasting up Lake Shore Drive with the sunrise.

We're also going to miss our steadfast Foreman - a charming golden retriever who displayed the characteristics of an ideal manager: consistent, diligent, and approachable.

The Winnetka Project included the gut rehabilitation of three bathrooms in an approximately 3,000 square foot, 2-story single family home built in 1944. The scope involved a luxury Master Ensuite including a walk-in shower, a custom double vanity, and stately fixtures; a Hall Bathroom including the refinishing of a cast-iron bathtub, new vanity, and glass arabesque tile; and a Tiny Ensuite bathroom including a walk-in shower, floating sink, and intricate tile work.

Having raised their family in this home for 30 years, our clients wanted to indulge themselves while bringing their post-war era house into the 21st century. The design concept for these projects was Small Bathroom, High Design – our challenge was to maximize the footprint of the bathrooms and accommodate their function seamlessly while also featuring a “wow” factor that will maintain its appeal for years to come.

Before moving on to the fun stuff, I did not take great before photos. What can I say? I dropped the photography ball...

So, here it is folks! The final reveal:
