In recognition of this project, Integro was named 2024 Contractor of the Year for Historical Restoration by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
This project was awarded First Place for Historical Restoration by the American Society of Interior Designers.
1st Generation Imagination
Originally designed by Bertrand Goldberg as a premiere hotel serving royal and international clientele in 1963, The Astor Tower was converted to residential condominiums in 1979. Our clients were 1st generation inhabitants of this home. Having grown up in this building, their priority was to make this space their own. Our scope involved extensive renovations to the interiors including layout changes, historical restoration, finish carpentry, custom fabricated millwork and stone, and custom fabrication of stained glass by local artisans.
