This project involved the conversion of an approximately 3,100SF, century-old Victorian 3-flat into an upper duplex and separate 1st Floor unit in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood. Our scope consisted of utility upgrades, exterior cladding, selective historical restoration, and medium grade interior finishes. Ultimately, our team was tasked with a new construction replacement of the 3rd floor and a 3-story rear deck.
As a result of decades of building neglect, this project required extensive coordination with the Chicago Department of Buildings and Chicago Zoning Board during the course of construction to address structural instability and bring this project to completion.
